SOLDPonderosa pine, Pinus ponderosa var ponderosaHere's a ponderosa pine bonsai that has it all. The bark is dramatic, well branched, legitimate age. The tree was collected about 20 years ago around Douglas, Wyoming. Based on terminal bud scale scars we estimate the age at 300 years. This bonsai was exhibited at ABS '06 and is in the book "North America Bonsai". It has been featured on HGTV, Discovery Channel, and PBS. The pot is by Sara Rayner.
