We've always been taken by the beauty of hinoki cypress bonsai. This one is graceful and pleasing. We styled this bonsai about eight years ago as a demonstration at our local science museum as part of an art and science exhibit. It has proven to be healthy and robust presenting its vivid green foliage. Hinokis are not hardy in our climate so we keep it in a 40 degree greenhouse where it flourishes over the winter.
