SOLDJaoanese boxwood, Buxus microphylliaHere's a bonsai forest with an interesting history. In the early 1980's the local Home and Garden Show would sell off all of their plant material after the show closed. They had a number of Japanese boxwoods so we bought 20 of them. Toshio Saburomaru was staying with us while he was in town for a club event. He wanted to do something special for Pam so he picked a few of the trees and personally styled this forest. This was shortly before is unfortunate death. We have left the arrangement as he implemented it. All we have done is the occasional repotting and grooming. This is a masterpiece.
